A Texas father walked in on his five-year-old daughter being molested and wasted no time in beating the man to death. The grand jury found the dad not guilty due to a state law that allows deadly force to be used to stop an aggravated sexual assault.

The incident occurred June 9th near Shiner, Texas. Someone spotted a farmhand, Jesus Flores carrying the girl into a secluded area and alerted the girl’s father. The concerned parent ran towards his daughters screams and found them both with their underwear off. He flew into a rage and beat Flores into unconsciousness. When he was sure the man was no longer a threat, he called 911 to report on the incident. ”Come on! This guy is going to die on me! I don’t know what to do.” he yelled.

The event was treated as a homicide but the father did not go to jail and will not be charged with a crime.

What do you guys/girls think about this? Would you have done the same? I can't really blame the father for doing what he did.

Lol if he was asking is it ok to beat your daughter to death I'd be worried.

This guy did it accidentally, can't blame him.

If you wanna talk about the law itself it would be a problem if it was ever used to cover up a murder. Like a man and woman plotting to kill someone and then using this law to protect themselves.

It’s like, you’ve got the whole world and Earth and all its holy creations, right? And God is like, Hmm, lookit, my whole world in all its holy ways, and he’s like, Oh-my-me-oh-sh**, I left weed in here. Yeah right, I left weed in here. Oh, shouldn’t have smoked that joint on the third day.”

That must have been the most horrifying situation to walk into for the dad. 5 years old... :\ That's disgusting beyond belief.
From the report given he had no intention of actually killing the pedophile though, so I completely agree with the judge's decision on not applying any criminal charge on him. Heck, I think I'd agree with it even if he did want to kill the guy. I'd imagine it's impossible to fight your impulsives in situations like this where you're driven by (justified) anger.

I commend the dad for doing that. I don't think there are any dads who wouldn't have done the same in his position.

This always goes back to the debate of "should people be able to take justice into their own hands?" In this case, I thought it was necessary.

Agreed. Besides, due to a technical loophole, the law was on his side anyway, not that he knew at the time, of course.

I think it's wrong because I bet fellow inmates could come up with some better ideas than just crude beating. ;)

Honestly, child and animal abusers are my top hates, and if I saw someone hurting someone I love, I can't guarantee I would have had any restraint either. However, excessive force was used obviously. However, everyone is admitting that!

I think this is a good outcome, honestly. They are respecting the victim by treating this as a homicide, but they are also understanding human nature by understanding the horror of walking in on your toddler being raped.

The offender deserved no less. And what's disgusting is that sexual offences seem to be committed on victims whose age just seems to be getting younger and younger. B******s.
